This Privacy Policy explains how Dawah Coach collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use our website and services.
Dawah Coach is an AI practice tool that helps users practice dawah conversations with AI personas and receive structured feedback. Dawah Coach is not a scholar, fatwa authority, religious authority, therapist, legal adviser, or substitute for qualified Islamic guidance.

2. Information we collect
We may collect the following information when you use Dawah Coach:
- Account information, such as email address, authentication data, account identifier, and login information
- Practice session transcripts, including what you say, AI persona responses, scenario information, conversation history, and AI generated feedback
- Feedback and survey responses that you choose to submit
- Technical information, such as device information, browser information, IP address, timestamps, logs, error information, and usage events
We do not store your plain text password.
Dawah Coach does not store voice recordings. Spoken input is processed temporarily by third party voice or transcription providers to create text transcripts.
Because Dawah Coach is used for religious conversation practice, your transcripts may reveal religious views, personal reflections, doubts, opinions, or philosophical beliefs. Please do not share private information that you do not want processed.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide practice sessions
- Generate AI persona responses
- Generate AI feedback and reviews
- Save practice history if you are signed in
- Manage user accounts
- Improve Dawah Coach
- Review quality and safety of AI responses
- Fix bugs and technical issues
- Prevent abuse or misuse
- Respond to feedback or support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not currently use your transcripts to train custom AI models. If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
4. Legal basis and sensitive information
If you are located in the European Economic Area, we process personal information based on:
- Providing the service you request
- Our legitimate interests in operating, securing, debugging, and improving Dawah Coach
- Your consent, where consent is required
- Legal obligations
Practice transcripts may reveal religious or philosophical beliefs. When you use a practice session, you choose to provide spoken input that may include this type of information. We process it to provide the practice session, create transcripts, generate feedback, maintain safety, improve quality, and operate Dawah Coach.
You can request deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
5. Service providers
Dawah Coach uses third party service providers for AI, voice processing, transcription, hosting, database, authentication, infrastructure, logging, email, and support.
This means your information may be processed by these providers as needed to operate Dawah Coach.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, to prevent abuse, or to protect users and the service.
Some providers may process information outside Sweden or the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
6. Human review
Authorized people working on Dawah Coach may review session transcripts, feedback, survey responses, and AI generated reviews when necessary to improve the product, fix issues, evaluate quality, investigate abuse, and make the service safer.
We aim to limit access to people who need it.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Signed in users: practice history is stored as part of your account unless you request deletion, your account is deleted, or your account has been inactive for 2 years.
Unsigned users: session transcripts may be stored for up to 30 days for debugging, safety, abuse prevention, quality review, and product improvement.
Technical logs are usually kept for up to 90 days.
Backups may keep deleted data for up to 90 days before permanent deletion.
Some limited information may be kept longer if needed for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or abuse prevention.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request a copy of your personal information.
You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Some rights are not absolute. For example, we may need to keep certain information for legal, security, abuse prevention, backup, or dispute resolution reasons.

Dawah Coach does not currently use analytics cookies or advertising cookies.
We may use essential cookies or similar technologies for login, security, account sessions, or core website functionality.
We may send service related emails, such as account, security, password reset, or important service notices.
We do not currently send marketing emails. If we do in the future, we will ask for permission where required and provide an unsubscribe option.
10. Children
Dawah Coach is intended for users who are at least 16 years old.
If you are under 16, you should not use Dawah Coach.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 16, we will take steps to delete it.
11. AI generated feedback
AI generated feedback may be inaccurate. It is provided for practice and reflection only.
It does not represent religious authority, scholarly judgment, legal advice, therapy, or a decision with legal or similarly significant effects.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information.
However, no online service can guarantee complete security. You are responsible for keeping your account details safe and avoiding sharing private information that you do not want processed.
